Shanna “Sweetie”  Berry is passionate about being creating excellent environments for children.  An expert consultant for learners identified as Twice Gifted, she is a specialist in the areas of gifted with ADD, behavior disordered children, children with physical handicaps,children on the autistic spectrum and children with  learning disabilities. Her background in Special Education, Learning Disabilities, Behavior Disabilities, as well as Gifted Education with certifications in PK-12 in Math, Reading, Science, English, and Writing as well as Gifted and Learning Disabilities Specializations make her a strong resource for any learning issue. She has a staff of board certified teachers as well as experienced leaders in the field of Gifted Education on board to assist our clients.

  • We can be hired by the parent or guardian, the courts, organization or school districts as an advocate for the needs of learners and supporting staff.
  • Sweetie is available to consult by phone, on site, or as a workshop presenter for schools, parents groups, organizations and districts.

Are you a parent, school, or district simply puzzled by a child or group of students failure to perform minimum standards or perform irratically in academic evaluation situations? Sweetie is hired  by parents or districts to help create prescriptive strategies for specific students who have unique and complex learning issues. Her work with the classroom teachers, parents, and professionals to create a cohesive plan for learning is lauded as extremely effective.

Fees:

Proposals will  based on a number of factors: distance, audience, location, and time involvement. It is my desire to goal to provide professional consulting at the most economical rate possible for clients.  Often I am able to combine travel, accommodations, etc as I serve schools, groups, or organizations in concentric or regional areas  to allow clients to coordinate and receive a reduced quote for services.

Educational Consultant
Available for on-site observation and creation of learning strategies for the child and up to five teachers who teach each child.
Five hour day workshops are available for providing staff training and/or facilitation of programming for a student. (workshop forms and outlines on CD used in the training will be available for an additional $10 per person, tailorable for their own classroom use)
Available to attend and facilitate IEP and/or 504 meetings with learners, teachers, and parents with complex learning issues.
